Day 30 in Guthrie Investigation: PCSD refocusing resources | News

TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – It’s been 30 days since anyone last saw 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie. New developments have emerged in the ongoing investigation into her disappearance.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD) is refocusing its resources, assigning homicide detectives to the case. Previously, detectives from various departments were involved. The number of detectives will fluctuate based on the leads and information received.

Law enforcement sources say the Guthrie residence has been returned to the family. Before this, there was significant activity, including the installation of a new alarm system and the placement of “No Trespassing” signs.

The investigation remains active as detectives pursue every lead. Calls to both 88-CRIME and the FBI tip line have decreased, but tips continue to come in. PCSD says the case will remain open until Nancy is found or all leads are exhausted.
