TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – Sentinel Peak Park will have restricted vehicle access this weekend to accommodate religious observances on “A” Mountain.
The City of Tucson has announced that Sentinel Peak Road will be closed to vehicles beginning April 3 through April 5 at 11 a.m. The park will remain open for pedestrians and cyclists.
“A” Mountain will host the Good Friday Cross Procession and Easter Sunday Sunrise Services.
Motorists driving in the area may experience traffic delays associated with these events.
The Tucson community should use caution when driving, bicycling or walking in these areas. Officials are asking people to watch for participants and obey all neighborhood posted speed limits.
