TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – Tucson Unified School District leaders approved a $6.2 million proposal to pilot a four-day school week at Palo Verde High Magnet School.
The plan will begin next school year and includes a Friday recovery day for students. District officials say the pilot outlines expected academic and financial impacts and would require additional staffing while meeting existing labor agreements.
