Couple in Tucson area murder-suicide identified

A married couple were found dead Tuesday morning at their northwest Tucson home in what authorities say was a murder-suicide.

About 10:45 a.m. deputies were called to a house in the 4300 block of West Rae Circle, near Interstate 10 and West Ina Road, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department said.

Richard M. Hozjan, 64, shot and killed his wife, Gail E. Hozjan, 43, then turned the gun on himself, authorities said.

The investigation continues.
