Allison Janney pays tribute to Nancy Guthrie after Emmy win

A reward totaling more than $1.2 million has been offered for information about Nancy Guthrie’s recovery.

Savannah Guthrie most recently returned to the morning show on Sept. 8. She previously stepped away from the table this summer to film a game show based on Wordle. Guthrie also took a two-month hiatus earlier this year after her mother disappeared on Feb. 1.

Janney plays President Grace Penn in the political drama “The Diplomat.” The win marks her eighth statuette, tying the record for most Emmys won by any performer. Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who Janney plans to star opposite in Broadway’s “Other Desert Cities,” also has eight acting Emmys along with Cloris Leachman. Jean Smart joined the eight-time Emmy winner club on Monday, with her acting win as the unfiltered comedy vet in “Hacks.”
