On Tuesday afternoon, singer Charli xcx announced that her upcoming Arizona concert would not take place. She was scheduled to perform on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale.

An Instagram story on the artist’s account reads:

“arizona angels. i am so so sorry to say we have to cancel tomorrow’s music fashion film show. i have been fighting sickness throughout this run of shows and have now completely lost my voice. i put absolutely everything i have into my performances, both physically and emotionally, and it breaks my heart that i can’t be with you tomorrow.

“my team worked hard to find a new date but ultimately were unable to. i’m so disappointed, but promise to return to AZ in the future. <3 refunds will be issued automatically for all who purchased via ticketmaster. for all others, refunds can be obtained at point of purchase.

“again, I’m sorry to the angels who had made plans to be there tomorrow. i know how much time, planning and care it takes to come to concerts and appreciate everyone’s support immensely.

“i am now resting ahead of the final show in vegas this friday. i want to be back onstage and finish this tour together with you. love you all x charli.”

The Glendale show was the second-to-last stop on the North American portion of her Music, Fashion, Film Tour. A series of European and U.K. dates are scheduled for early next year.
