Downtown Phoenix’s music venues can’t hold a candle to Trinity Cathedral, the 105-year-old landmark at First Avenue and Roosevelt blessed with divine acoustics and one of the Southwest’s largest pipe organs.

The historic cathedral will utilize those features during Music at Trinity’s newly announced 2026-27 concert season, which runs from October through May.

The eight-concert lineup spans chamber music, jazz, organ, classical guitar and choral performances, with most events free to attend. Acclaimed organist David Briggs, classical guitarist Benjamin Lougheed and resident chamber ensemble Urban Nocturnes are among the featured musicians.

The season also brings a couple of firsts to Trinity, including the cathedral’s first classical guitar concert and its first “Jazz in the Cathedral” performance with Phoenix trio We3.
