PHOENIX — High pressure is building in this weekend and will push afternoon temperatures into the mid 90s by Sunday.
If you have outdoor plans, be sure to wear sunscreen and drink plenty of water. Temperatures will stay in the 90s from Saturday through Tuesday.
While Sunday will be warm, we are tracking unusually strong winds out of the east. Gusts here in the Valley could reach 20 to 30 mph. In higher terrain, gusts could top 40 to 50 mph.
Get ready for more breezy days into next week, along with a dip in temperatures after midweek. Another storm system will pass to our north. While rain and snow do not look likely, temperatures will fall back into the 80s with its passage.
