Local Venezuelana starting to collect supplies after deadly earthquake | Local News

TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – Venezuelans in Tucson are working to collect supplies for earthquake victims in their home country.

Marlene Baquet runs Tucson’s only Venezuelan food truck and is working with a group called ‘All For Venezuela’ to gather donations. The supplies will go to people in the hardest hit parts of Venezuela.

Medical supplies are the biggest need right now. Baquet says people can go online and order items like ibuprofen, wound cream, vitamins, gauze pads, and water purification tablets.

The address for ‘All In Venezuela’ is:

1391 NW 187 Ave.

Pembroke Pines, FL 33029

Baquet said people in Venezuela will need these supplies for a while. The group hopes to set up donation drop-off sites in Tucson in the coming days.
