MARANA, Ariz. (KVOA) – News 4 Tucson has learned of the victims of the passenger plane crash at the Marana Regional Airport.
The two victims have been identified as Chris Sheafe and Jacque Sheafe, according to a close friend. Chris was part of the Rio Nuevo Board of Directors.
According to the friend, the two victims were coming back from Indianapolis and refueled a couple times before heading home.
The plane crash happened on April 8 around 5:12 p.m. The plane reportedly went off the runway, crashed and burst into flames.
