A Pima County constable and a candidate for that position were arrested this week while parked on a remote Southwest Side road, drinking with a 21-year-old woman. Francisco Lopez and Gerard Acuña, who falsely claimed to be a constable, were ticketed after a noise complaint. Lopez is facing a complaint filed with the state Ethics Board over shoving a woman to the ground earlier this year.
